Born and raised in southern New Jersey, Zoey attended college in Montreal for two years before moving to Ottawa and Toronto. She later returned to Montreal where she began her career as a columnist and freelance writer.

Feeling that another relocation would further her career, Zoey chose 2002 as the year she would move back to Toronto. It was then that she launched her web site, followed by her blog, which has since become wildly popular among young readers, media enthusiasts, journalism students and fans alike. Attracting more than 4,500 visitors a week, Zoey has been able to connect to readers on an entirely new level.
